DEDHAM, MA – At least one person sustained injuries Thursday in a multi-vehicle collision along the highway in north-central Norfolk County, reports Boston 25 News.
The accident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the Providence Highway at the I-95 off-ramp in Dedham. This is about 15 miles southwest of Boston.
Police say that a driver neglected to heed a stop sign, causing a three-vehicle crash. One of the vehicles overturned during the wreck.
Medics transported one person to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
Drivers likely faced delays along Providence Highway while emergency crews worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
