1 arrested, 5 hurt in OUI collision near Faneuil and Brooks

BOSTON, MA – Police are reporting multiple injuries in connection to a multi-vehicle crash that happened Sunday on the west side of Boston, reports 25 News Boston.

The accident happened shortly after 7:30 pm. on Faneuil Street near Brooks Street. This is west of Mary Lyon Pilot High School and northeast of the Oak Square YMCA.

Police say that an initial three-vehicle wreck caused one of the vehicles, a Nissan Rogue, to strike a nearby house.

All three vehicles were badly damaged, and five people required hospitalization for non-critical injuries.

Authorities arrested one driver on OUI charges.

A full investigation is underway.
