FALMOUTH, MA – Massachusetts State Police are investigating a single-car wreck that killed one person and injured two others in southwest Barnstable County, reports Boston 25 News.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. Friday along Route 28 in the city of Falmouth. This is about 71 miles southeast of Boston.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause of the crash. They say a vehicle carrying three people left the roadway and fell down an embankment.
The driver, identified as 18-year-old Kayden Coombs, was ejected from the car. First responders found Coombs under the vehicle and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Medics transported the other two occupants of the vehicle to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
