JAMAICA PLAIN, MA – Emergency teams responded to a major collision with injuries in the southwest suburbs of Boston on Friday afternoon, reports Boston 23 News.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jamaicaway and Pond Street in the city of Jamaica Plain. This is on the east side of Jamaica Pond, about three miles northwest of the Franklin Park Zoo.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the crash, the number of vehicles involved, or the manner in which the cars impacted.
Medics transported three people to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials closed roadways in the area of the wreck while crews assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.
