TAUNTON, MA – A wrong-way collision along a major roadway in east-central Bristol County injured four people Tuesday, reports abc 6.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. on Somerset Avenue in the city of Taunton. Authorities haven’t yet provided a cross-street for the wreck. Somerset runs north to south from Weir Street in Taunton to Main Street in Dighton.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the crash, which they say involved three vehicles.
Medics transported two of the drivers to an area hospital with critical injuries.
Two additional victims also required hospitalization; the extent of their injuries is unclear.
