Vehicle hits house near Broadway and Mansfield, injuring 1

LYNN, MA – Emergency crews responded to an injury crash in the northeast suburbs of Boston on Friday morning, reports Boston 25 News.

The accident happened around 1 a.m. near Broadway and Mansfield Street. This is just west of Flax Pond in the city of Lynn.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a Nissan sedan crashed into the front of a house.

Nobody inside of the home was hurt, but at least one person from the Nissan sustained injuries of unknown severity. It’s unclear if that person required hospitalization.

Officials say that the house did not sustain significant structural damage.
A tow truck removed the Nissan from the scene.

Authorities have not determined if drugs or alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
