MILFORD, MA – Emergency crews responded to a double-injury pedestrian crash in southeast Worcester County on Wednesday, reports Boston 25 News.
The incident occurred in the afternoon at the intersection of Spruce Street and Congress Street, which is just southwest of Memorial Elementary School.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the accident except to say that two pedestrians required hospitalization. Medics transported one of the victims via air ambulance.
It’s unclear if the driver involved in the crash stopped to render aid; at this time, police haven’t referred to the crash as a hit-and-run.
